Meridian's New Huntingdon HQ 'Media Room'


Meridian have installed a new 'Media Room' at their Huntingdon HQ with a full Atmos enabled system.

The concept is to show how a 'Media Room' can be created in a brighter environment than a true home cinema.



Meridian have utilised their forthcoming 271 DSP interface (Available Qtr1 2018 priced at £1500) running in conjunction with an Anthem AV processor.

The DSP configuration is DSP640's (LCR behind screen), DSP520 (Rears and Sides) DSP320 (Atmos Overheads) and a DSW.

The screen is a DT - Display Technologies 'Frontier 16:9 model.

Projector is the brand new 'Medea'  The 'Medea' is 4K UHD resolution, 5,500 lumens of laser illumination and custom Barco Pulse electronics. Light output: (M Version) up to 5,500 lumens,  Dimensions: (d x w x h) 680 x 480 x 227 mm  (excluding lens)



The projector is mounted vertically on the wall with a reflecting mirror. This whole assembly is offset behind the entrance door.
